The Atomic Loft is in the heart of the Arts & Entertainment District of historic downtown Guthrie, OK. Enjoy glorious views from large windows in a bright & airy loft space with comfortable furnishings and large oversized original art all throughout the space that is made by the owners Utopia Joe & Tipsy Artist.
The space
Your private historic loft space with 1500 square feet has one master bedroom with Queen size bed, large dresser & private bath, a second bedroom with a full size bed, vanity with mirror, nightstand, living room with 1 couch and 2 twin air mattresses for additional sleeping arrangements. The kitchen is very large with seating for 8 at dining table and partially open to the rest of the space with large architectural open windows with the original 1902 design. A flat screen TV with large DVD selection is located in the living room. Oversized iconic paintings by Utopia Joe are shown throughout the loft.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire private loft space which is approximately 1500 square feet. In addition, you will also have access to a full size washer and dryer located in our hallway which is shared only with other guests during your stay.
Interaction with guests
We live here in the back of the building and we are just a text away with whatever you need. We also have Tipsy Artist painting classes every Saturday night. You will need to pre-register for these classes at-TipsyArtist.com
Other things to note
Downtown Guthrie is the nation's largest historic district. We have many restaurants, antique shops, coffee shops, gift shops, old fashion ice cream shop, indoor put-put, wine bars, and The Pollard Theatre all within 1-2 blocks. The world famous Tipsy Artist Paint Palace is also located downstairs where you can take a painting class and relax with a glass of wine.

Summary: The location was great for walking around and shopping. We were challenged getting our luggage up and down the deep stairs. The apt was nicely furnished with open space, but there were no window coverings overlooking downtown at night. The kitchen had everything we needed including snacks and a light breakfast. There was a drawback with the only bathroom in the master bedroom. We had to go thru the bedroom to use the facility in the middle of the night waking the occupant. The hosts were charming and fun- we enjoyed painting with them. We had a great time in Guthrie
